California dreamin'

After an amazing 5 days in Sonoma and Napa, we're home! We visited 18 wineries and a brewery, took a cooking class at CIA, ate some wonderful meals, saw good family friends, and enjoyed the gorgeous weather and scenery.

I'm going to take a few posts over the next week or so to tell you all about our trip - but until then, please enjoy these photos from our first evening - after a long day of travel, we stopped in San Francisco for a couple of drinks and then "our" In 'N Out burger just north of the city!

We stopped at City Beer Store in the urban SOMA district of the city.  It's on Folsom Street between 7th and 8th.  It's an actual store with shelves and coolers for people to purchase beers.  They also have 6 taps set up with craft beers.  It's very small with only 3 tables, but other great spaces set up for people to sit along the windows and stairs.

I had the Ommegang Aphrodite - it was different, a little sweet and a little sour, but I really liked it!  Husband had Drake's Aroma Coma.

The fog crossing the bridge was crazy!  We couldn't even see the city...
